Meet our Doctors

Our doctors believe that every child should have the best dental experience in a comfortable and caring environment.  They understand how to ease a child’s anxiety during a dental visit with their caring demeanor and warm smiles. They are dedicated to providing the best quality oral health care to children and understand the importance of educating children and parents about the best ways to take care of teeth and gums to ensure optimal dental health. All being mothers themselves, they strive to treat each child as they would their own family.

 

Dr. Margaret Santiago is a gentle and compassionate pediatric dentist. She believes strongly in providing the best quality dental care as well as creating a comforting experience for children. IMG_2037Her goal is to make every child’s dental experience positive and fun. She believes strongly in educating her patients and their family on preventative dentistry and oral hygiene in order to cultivate positive attitudes toward oral health.  Dr. Santiago earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at Northwestern University in Chicago. She then completed her pediatric dentistry residency at the University of Southern California and Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr Santiago has also served as an associate clinical professor in the department Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Illinois at Chicago‘s Dental School. In her personal time, Dr. Santiago likes to spend time with her husband, son and their dog Wrigley. She enjoys many outdoor and sporting activities like hiking and camping. She is also very involved in her son’s soccer and baseball teams. Dr. Santiago and her family have a passion for traveling and experiencing different cultures. She is also an avid sports fan and loves attending Warrior’s and A’s games.

 

 

 

Dr. Amy Brandon is a warm and caring pediatric dentist. She strives to build relationships with her patients and their families based on trust, kindness, and compassion. Dr. Amy earned her dr amy finalBachelor of Science in Biology at University of Denver and her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from University of Southern California School of Dentistry.  She completed her pediatric dental residency at University of Southern California and Children’s Hospital of Orange County.  Dr. Amy is a diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Contra Costa Dental Society, American Dental Association and Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity member.  On her personal time Dr. Amy likes to play and care for her identical twin girls, exercise, go on hikes, watch movies, read, and throw pottery. Dr. Brandon enjoys watching the SF Giants and USC football, but her original athletic passion was her involvement in gymnastics.  Dr. Amy looks forward to meeting your children and is excited to serve the surrounding community and their oral health care needs!

 

 

 

 

Dr. Melissa Bailey is a very knowledgeable and compassionate orthodontist. She strives to provide high-end orthodontic care while keeping the experience enjoyable and comfortable for dr bailey use this oneher patients. She earned her undergraduate degree from the UCLA, majoring in music (piano performance), and taught piano for 10 years. Dr. Bailey decided to enter dental school at UCLA’s School of Dentistry, graduating with honors and being inducted into the national dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. She received her specialty training in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics from Loma Linda University.  Dr. Bailey attends numerous continuing education courses to stay up-to-date with the latest clinical orthodontic techniques and innovations. The eldest of four children, Dr. Bailey grew up in the Los Angeles. She currently resides in the East Bay with her husband and 2 sons. In her personal time, she enjoys reading, yoga, going to the beach, and entertaining family and friends.

 

 

 

 

 

Dr. Leslie Berkowitz is excited to be working with great patients and families at Main St Pediatric Dental and Orthodontics. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from IMG_6607The Pennsylvania State University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University College of Dentistry.  Dr. Leslie completed a yearlong residency in general dentistry followed by a year as chief dental resident at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY.  She then entered St. Barnabas’ pediatric dentistry residency program where she completed her specialty training.  Dr. Leslie is Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is dedicated to providing the best quality oral health and strives to provide a positive dental experience for all her patients. In her personal time, Dr. Leslie enjoys spending time at home and outdoors with her husband and three little boys.  She is an avid Philly sports and Penn State football fan and also enjoys hiking, cooking and reading.
