Dr. Margaret Santiago

Dr. Margaret Santiago is a gentle and compassionate pediatric dentist in Pleasanton. She believes strongly in providing the best quality dental care as well as creating a comforting experience for children. Her goal is to make every child’s dental experience positive and fun. She believes strongly in educating her patients and their family on preventative dentistry and oral hygiene in order to cultivate positive attitudes toward oral health.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

Dr. Santiago earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at Northwestern University in Chicago. She then completed her pediatric dentistry residency at the University of Southern California and Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr Santiago has also served as an associate clinical professor in the department Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Illinois at Chicago‘s Dental School.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like To Do?

In her personal time, Dr. Santiago likes to spend time with her husband, 2 sons and their dog Wrigley. She enjoys many outdoor and sporting activities like hiking and camping. She is also very involved in her son’s soccer and baseball teams. Dr. Santiago and her family have a passion for traveling and experiencing different cultures. She is also an avid sports fan and loves attending Warrior’s and A’s games.
